FH3 lot 9

FH3 Lot 9 is a 1.5 hectare (3.75 acre) property at Fruit Haven 3

Access and Terrain:

Surrounded by the jungle in pristine nature at around 1000 meter elevation (3200 feet) above sea level in tropical Southeast Ecuador. The property is located a 10 minute ATV drive or a 40 minute walk up our private road at a quiet and peaceful place with pure air. When you arrive on the property you are immediately struck by how quiet and peaceful it is. This is because it is remote enough for very little traffic noise to reach. The remote location means there is virtually no light pollution, so nights during dry periods are exceptionally starry. There’s a sunset view, no noisy neighbors and almost no mosquitoes. Perfect for someone that wants to live in the tropics and doesn’t want to be dealing with mosquitos all the time.

The property is located a few seconds walk from the FH3 community area, and is only a 10 minute walk from a beautiful waterfall with a natural pool. You can arrive at the property via ATV or motorcycle. There is a driveway that allows you to drive right up to the property. We recommend a 4-wheeled ATV for best performance, but several people here have motorcycles and do just fine. The property is mostly flat. There is a large flat area and some downhill slope on the northern section of the property. At the FH3 community area you will have access to electricity, internet, hot water bathtub, shower, dry composting toilet and the community kitchen. Laundry machine is available at the Fruit Haven 1 community area. The property is about a 10 minute ATV or motorcycle ride, or a 40 minutes walk to a village called Chuchumbleza with some small shops with fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts, seeds etc. and a café called Café Del Rio where they serve lunch and dinner. From the main road of Chuchumbleza, it is a 30-40 minute bus ride for $1 to Gualaquiza town. In Gualaquiza there is an excellent fresh food market with plenty of fruits and vegetables, supermarkets, clothes shops, hardware stores, laundromats, banks, church, cafés and restaurants.

Utilities:

At FH3 Lot 9 there is a 4 meter x 5 meter roof structure suitable for parking an ATV or a motorcycle. There are also many hardwood beams, posts and boards stored here which can be used for construction projects. The wood types are Caujillo, Copal, Guanton and Seique, those are some of the best hardwoods in Ecuador that you can expect to last for 80 + years. There are many beautiful flat rocks that can be used to make a natural floor with. There’s also two tables (Japanese style) One small table and a large table, and some tools; shovel, pickaxe, machetes etc. There can easily be hooked up water from the nearest hookup point by the FH3 community area workshop. The pressure and volume will be sufficient for sinks, showers etc. There is a cell phone signal including cell data. Cellular internet available with a Claro (local cell provider) phone sim card, which you can buy for $7 at any store in town, and add MB of bandwidth pre-paid as you please. Internet access is available at the FH3 community area, though internet could easily be installed on FH3 Lot 9 if desired. Broadband internet can be hooked up via installing an antenna. This could be on the side of the house depending on house height and position, or you could mount it on a pole. Installation cost is around $100. Internet service costs about $25/month for 6 MBPS up/down (higher speeds are available) For electricity, the most viable option is a solar system.

Do you want to have a “getaway place” in case the economy collapses and you are unable to support yourself in the city? Or are you maybe just having some extra money and want to throw them somewhere where it will hold its value and do some good? 1.5 hectares is more than enough land to raise food for a family. The soil on the property is good, just needs a bit of compost to get stuff to grow well. For people looking for a peaceful place in the mountains this is it. Ideal for someone that wants to make their own version of paradise, starting growing their own food and getting a cabin built and so on. Since there’s already enough hardwood stored in the shed to build a cabin with, it’s the perfect package for someone that wants to build a cabin straight away, so they have a place where they can grow their own fruit with like-minded individuals and families. All of these reasons (and more) are great reasons for why to buy this property.

FH3 Lot 9 is for sale for $7500 USD. The price is negotiable. Can be paid in either USD, Euro or in cryptocurrency. (if one prefers to do the payment over a longer period of time, then that’s possible)
